So how would a Consultant test for Amyloidosis? Lets say someone I know had a heart attack a few months ago. No obvious signs as to why he had a heart attack, no clogged arteries or high cholesterol, so if they are over looking amyloidosis? It certainly put his other friends off getting boosted this Winter. He was 53. Also my daughter has heard of two peoples mothers she knows, dying suddenly in the last 3 days, both aged around 50, one had just got back off holiday, got up collapsed and died in hallway, the other was found to have died in her sleep. YIKE BLOODY YIKES.
