I have looked into stem cell infusion for an ankle injury, the price in Massachusetts is $1000.00 work done at a major medical facility. Now there may be lab costs involved, but each time I asked I received the same number. (EDIT: the cells are my own, not from any other source)
Further as a knee was also injured at the time, I was told that yes, the cost for the knee would also be $1,000.00. I suggest you shop around.
And it may be that because stem cell infusions (EDIT: again, they are my own) are not covered by most if not all insurance plans, the quotes you are getting are designed to discourage such tech?
This is a bit of hopeful, and potentially very promising, news Walter. Given the wide range of pathologies and tissue/organ damage caused by the spike, one can pray stem cells ultimately prove to be applicable across the board as far as reversing the destruction and restoring sustainable health & function. Yep - that's used commonly for orthopedic issues. It's a bit cheaper than stem cell therapy = much easier to harvest and prepare.
