Sadly drinking tea caused my arthritis, ADD and other issues, however I found out soon enough to stop the damage to my joints preventing me from having a normal life. The problem is probably not the actual tea itself, but the extensive dead insect matter in the tea that was not removed prior to processing. I spent most of my life drinking a nice cup of tea, top brands, and it was only after an extensive elimination diet that I discovered by accident that it was the tea all along. So be very careful what you buy.
Walter thanks for all the work you are doing g for humanity.
But, the fermented teas are lower in polyphenol than the non-fermented cousins.
If you would like a great tea, a tea steeped in history and known for its health giving benefits try Long Jin, West Lake Dragon.
Support the small farmers growing tea thru organic methods rather than the huge commercially grown varieties. This allows those small farmers to make a living by producing great, healthy teas full of polyphenols.
Be sure it is organic tea or the pesticides are steeped in the brewed tea. My hubby was part of a bone marrow transplant research study in the 1990's and had 10% chance of living more than 90 days. We got 7 years with 3 transplants, 11 rounds of chemo, full body & monoclonal radiation and no organ damage... he was dubbed the Miracle Man by our Fred HUTCH team.
We used lots of nutritional and vitamin boosters and protections and green tea as a detoxifier and our study team who had zero nutrition education were skeptical but supportive of our nutritional approach to healing and astounded by regular novel results. Imagine nature knows better than pharma what is needed to be healthy!!
Dear Walter. You are a saviour. You save lives. Do you know that? Thank you for your incredible work. We catch it, because treatment outside the influence of Pharma is needed Hugs from a collegue in Denmark.
Friday Hope: EGCG (Found in Tea) Inhibits Fibrillization and SARS-CoV-2 Replication
It seems like polyphenols, in general, are useful: Luteolin, Apigenin, Resveratrol, EGCG, Curcumin, etc...
Don't forget EGCG needs an acidic environment for proper absorption.
Tea and lemon? Yum.
Please be careful about your source of Green Tea that can have damaging levels of Fluoride

Please find that coffee does the same because I don’t love green tea 😁
And World Council for Health notes that lemon added to green tea makes its benefits much more bioavailable: https://worldcouncilforhealth.org/resources/food-synergy-combinations/

Cheers to the ☕️ tea together!!
Radio host Michael Savage mentioned this about EGCG in January 2020. He also pointed out HIV was being inserted into the so-called “vaccine.”
I really love him and appreciate his intellect.
Can EGCG also cause liver issues, I've seen someone posting studies on this.

[so... This is why pricey green tea is touted as super good...]
'In terms of type, green tea has almost twice the total tannin content of black tea

and as such
may be important allies in the prevention of many of the chronic diseases
