Radio host Michael Savage warns too much pill/ powder form curcumin in one day apparently is hard on the liver. He’s a very knowledgeable and highly educated man with two PhDs and prior work in the supplement industry.

He points out nations that regularly use it as a spice for food have no problem with it and benefit from it because their intake is gradual.

Moderation in all things makes sense

Some people say EDTA chelation therapy and some say hyperbaric oxygen are both helpful. So sorry you’re suffering.

This makes Silymarin/milk thistle, mentioned elsewhere by WMC as a synergist for turmeric a perfect addition.

Definitely concur (though I do not have the professional credentials to offer as learned an endorsement perhaps... ;) Have personally been using CuraMed as my go-to curcumin supplement for the past severaL years, more as an excellent anti-inflammatory but it has also been highly protective I believe in regard to the Spike and its many harmful/pathogenic effects in the body. Walter, out of curiosity have you also looked at Black Seed oil (Nigella sativa) in the course of your work? I have found it, along with a quality and pure curcuminoid, to be synergistc in both preventive and therapeutic protocols. Thanks always, have a great Spring weekend!

Thanks again, Walter. I’d like to reproduce a comment placed on David Nixon’s Substack a month or so ago:

David I am in Nepal we have no chance to have activate charcoal. My people had the J&J and we had a few really bad problems. Since then we drink a decoction (it has to boil 8/10 minutes) of turmeric and star anise in powder almost every morning. 2/3 of turmeric, 1/3 star anise.

One teaspoon of powder with one and half cup of water. Make it simmer for 8/10 minutes From that moment we had no more bad things happening. Turmeric, if cooked, is a powerful detox ingredient, and star anise is good against flu and all those problems. I don't know if this can be useful. BTW my people who have been jabbed are 35. I also drink the decoction because I had shedding problems. It takes a little time for working, like, say one week. With people who had very bad skin problems it worked in 2 weeks.

One teaspoon of powder with one and half cup of water. Make it simmer for 8/10 minutes

Nepal Bioweapon Concoction

2/3 tsp turmeric

1/3 tsp powdered star anise

Simmer in 1 ½ cups water

for 9 minutes

James: You make a very important point. I heard that Mike Adams (the Health Ranger) tested many turmeric products and found that about 80 percent were adulterated. So I looked for a reputable supplier and settled on Azure Standard (I am not a shill). Their organic turmeric passed the test.

Pure turmeric is definitely one of the top ten herbs in the world. It has even been linked to low dementia rates in India (where turmeric consumption is highest in the world).

I bought Frontier Co-op organic Turmeric and the batch I received also passed that simple test.

Organic Turmeric for everyday use and if in dire need some regular curcumin which I will prepare thus - a part of tapioca maltodrextrin dissolved in a bit of water stir in the curcumin then grind in a part of sunflower lecithin and then stir in some olive oil. or grind equal (or any number of other ratios) parts tapioca maltodextrin, curcumin and sunflower lecithin then stir in olive oil. Also for time of dire a small amount of commercially prepared highly absorbable curcumin.

As per a note I sent

Dear Akhirta Atikana, Thank You for the work you put into this paper.

I read such as these in the hope of gleaning a bit more on how to increase absorption of hard to absorb medicinal herbs, at home, using readily available substances and methods.

I have read on ways to increase absorption and extend the effective active time in circulation of hard to absorb "herbs", which was prompted by the denial of access to drugs for the treatment of covid in the US for the purpose of forcing Emergency Use Authorization for and fear based acceptance of mRNA injections for covid "vaccination". To the great harm to billions of people.

Based on an Indena SpA patent application history and final granted patent concerning "Quercefit" and other commercial practice, I now grind together equal parts of maltodextrin, herb, and lecithin then combine with olive oil or dissolve maltodextrin in a bit of water, grind with herb, then lecithin, then combine with olive oil for "medicinal" purposes. note: according to the patent application any number of ratios of "parts" are said to "work" and in the patent literature and a simple mechanical mixture of quercetin, as a example of a hard to absorb herb, with maltodexrtin and lecithin increases absorption 10 times vs then processing the mixture with high proof ethanol for a 20 times increase or in some claims 50 times increase in absorption.. I use organic tapioca maltodextrin because it is used by major pharmaceutical companies, according to export records, and regular sunflower lecithin because it is referenced and easily available. My experience says It does work to increase absorption, use caution, reduce dose as you see how your mix acts in your body. Or if inhibiting a certain phase or feature of a virus or in a big fight with a virus - go for it.

TO INCREASE ABSORPTION of hard to absorb "herbs". "In Ayurvedic medicine you take remedies together with ghee and honey - fat and sugar." (Elizabeth)

another patent US8440... helps inform the usefulness of taking quercetin with B3 and C to extend its active time in circulation.

high proof ethanol extractions and long simmered in water decoctions are certainly also useful for home based processing of herb for medicinal use.

Studies that include such guidelines for such "home" use, starting with the available "raw" herb, are needed.

Thank You.

PS. from reading around I found elite distance runners use for their maximal absorption fuel/hydration drink maltodextin dissolved in water or for some 3 parts maltodextrin 1 part fructose dissolved in water. Both these sugars are used commercially to increase absorption of nutraceuticals.

Keep putting out the most incredible work and it's amazing

how so many organic substances deal with this MANMADE attack

on the organic DNA of life on Earth.

We're definitely giving Tumeric to our animals to help protect them

from the influx of poisons in the environment...

It's become prohibitively expensive and we're now searching for

better ways to raise the plants producing these substances ourselves.

Walter, what about Neem?

In Ayurveda, neem is often taken in combination with turmeric (curcumin).

Turmeric helped pressure in my chest go away ... but also heard that it usually grows in lead-rich soil. A trustworthy company sent testing results and there is more than a small amount of lead, although there's no safe level ... Does anyone know a source for turmeric that does not have lead? Thanks!!

Expand full comment

Maybe people are having a toxic reaction to turmeric because some of it is adulterated with lead.

Expand full comment

There may be a reason why the body does not like to absorb curcumin and the liver acts to expel it; it is a toxic compound, as are many medicines.

I would use caution in making it a part of your food.
