Yes, Sucharit Bhakdi explains the mechanism, the best I have seen. I did not know about his explanation three years ago, just saw it for the first time a few months ago, but it is very well done. Yes, I agree it is simple if you know anything about immunology. I only took one course in immunology (and worked in an immunology lab for awhile). Where were all the professional senior immunologists on this SIMPLE concept?
