I do not believe that there is a terribly great risk of the spike being a problem for anyone who is neither vaxxed, nor infected with the virus itself. When the shots were first rolled out in 2021, and people were breathlessly whispering about the risks of the vaxxed "shedding spike," I kind of rolled my eyes a little bit ... That just *sounded* like disinformation -- a fear-based psi-op aimed to further divide.
As this whole thing has unfolded, it has only come to seem less and less likely to me that the spike protein that is produced by the vaxxed would pose any great risk to the unvaxxed. Horizontal (eg, person-to-person) transmission of anything -- be it viral particles or another type of pathogen -- typically occurs because there is preferential replication of that pathogen in the respiratory or digestive systems themselves, or because the pathogen is somehow concentrated there. When the infected person then coughs, sneezes, or poops, the pathogen is spread.
What is being reported about spike is that it concentrates in the internal organs of the vaxxed, including the myocardium, the liver, and, according to the above article that Walter just posted, it evidently has a fast-track to the brain. (Wahoo!) ... It also, of course, circulates all danged over the body in the bloodstream. The multi-vaxxed could have issues with the Ig-4 conversion of antibodies.
The whole of humanity may have to face off against a Marek's disease type of issue (if we make it that far).
What I understand is that viruses that kill fast don't tend to reproduce. If you introduce a prophylactic that makes it so a killer virus can invade someone and not kill them (or as fast), then you give the killer virus more chance to spread.
If you force your population to take the prophylactic (like say, you're a chicken and the farmer force penetrates you and all your peeps with a syringe), then the effect is population-wide, and the killer viruses lose their handicap. Now they can reproduce and become even more destructive.
This happened with Marek's disease, and a previously not-always-lethal disease, is now lethal in the unvaccinated *ahem* sorry the unprophylacticated chickens.
