QUESTION: What about the risk of bleeding when taking low dose (78 mg) aspirin daily? Two shots of Moderna in 2021 gave me thrombocythemia with acquired JAK2 V617f. I control my platelet levels, bouncing between 450 and 480, by taking various supplements. I did take LD aspirin but noticed I was getting very slight nosebleeds, so I discontinued and now solely on supplements. I take Ivermectin once/month, too.
I think the correct analysis might be to balance the risk of bleeding vs. the benefit of thinning your blood. As I understand it, a CHADS score is used for analysis regarding use of blood thinners for AFIB and other conditions that would benefit from blood thinning. If you are getting only very slight nose bleeds, does the benefit of taking aspirin to reduce the risk and severity of blood clots (since you've already had them and may now have more of a risk of getting them) outweigh the inconvenience (or other side effects) of nose bleeds.
Guaifenesin is an expectorant that thins and loosens catarrh and phlegm that is another fantastic remedy able to massively relieve 'post?'- COVID (30 months constant) symptoms like constantly forming thick catarrh, constant cough (especially when trying to speak), phlegm constantly sitting in the lungs, and feeling like one always has something unpleasantly stuck in the windpipe that one just cannot shift.
The catarrh and phelgm had been resulting also in frequent further lung infections whenever I went out amongst the jabbed who very often indeed seem to be battling mild bouts of pneumonia when one hears the distinctive rattle on their lungs as they cough uncontrollably on the bus or train, and now I seem to be able to move amongst others without coming down with some lung infection as soon as I have been among crowds of other people.
A few weeks back I tried Guaifenesin thinking that like many other 'remedies' it would be quite unlikely to offer any real relief that would actually really work longer term, and I have found it actually works exceptionally well.
I have been chucking everything but the kitchen sink at this for years with no real lasting results, but a simple over-the-counter Bell's 300ml Mucus Cough medicine for £2.19 from LIDL containing Guaifenesin really does the trick after a small fortune spent on all kinds of other things.
I just tried a bottle of Benylin Mucus Cough as well for just over 4 quid from LIDL too for the comparison with Guaifenesin and Levomenthol, but that is only a 125 ml bottle with the same amount of Guaifenesin per 5ml but the effect was instantaneous literally as soon as I swallowed 10 ml, but the latter by Benylin works out around 3 times as much costwise. Both are good though.

Interesting then that aspirin was demoted heavily as a preventative right around the pandemic
